About Us

The Tehama District Fairgrounds is situated in the Antelope Valley near the Sacramento River and historical downtown Red Bluff. Red Bluff has been a well-kept secret rich in history and tradition.

We invite you to visit our 110 acres grounds in the heart of Red Bluff, California. The year-round facility offers an outdoor rodeo arena with ½ mile track and seating for 9,000 people. The indoor arena seats 1,800 people with an attached, covered warm up arena. There are 206 permanent stalls with easy access to an additional 250 portable stalls. Along with 210 RV spaces with water and electrical hook-ups. Plenty of restrooms with showers are on grounds. As well as five banquet halls ranging from 2,000 square feet to 14,000 square feet.

Hosting over 300 events a year, the Fairgrounds, is not only a force for economic development, but a place for family and friends to gather in celebration, share knowledge, and develop skills. The facility has the capability to host any event. The Red Bluff Round-Up, Red Bluff Bull & Gelding Sale, West Coast Monster Truck Nationals, CA High School Rodeo Junior High Finals, Outlaw Go-Karts, and countless other events call the Tehama District Fairgrounds home.

The annual fair is the only event that the 30th District Agricultural Association solely produces. The first annual Fair was held in 1921. Through the years the dates and the name of the fair have changed but our commitment to showcasing local agricultural products and bringing our community together has remained. We invite you to come out to the fair, the first weekend in May to celebrate everything Tehama County has to offer.

The Fairgrounds has been used at its full capacity to serve as a base camp for Cal Fire, house evacuees and their animals, provide camp for the National Guard, and serve as a workstation for environmental clean-up crews.

Countless times Fairgrounds across the State have stepped up to serve their local communities, their states, and their nation. As wildfires rage throughout California. They are here for you 24/7/365. When disaster strikes, we rest assured knowing that our Fairgrounds are here to help.
